Abstract |
|
|
The pillar[n]arenes, recent additions to the class of compounds known as macrocycles, have found numerous applications since they were first reported in 2008. This review assesses their use as chemical sensors with a particular focus on fluorescent, electrochemical and colorimetric detection methods.
